8u Update(s).
Team Sipe/Hoff:

The Sipe/Hoff team had a close game against the Ice Dogs on Saturday but came up on top. This weekend they will Travel to the Ice Gardens to take on the Philadelphia Revolution for the top spot for their division in the EAHL. The boys are working hard every week to prepare for the Presidents Day tournament in Niagara, NY.

10u Update.
It was another weekend of back-to-back games for the squirts. Saturday, they battled Warwick to a disappointing loss. It was a tough game and a tougher loss.

Sunday, the squirts were back on the ice for an early game against Wintersport. With the recent loss behind them, our players battled to a decisive 9:5 win. Two of our players had hat tricks, with AJ Smith getting his first hatty of the season. We currently have 5 players in the roster with hat tricks. Our players kept their standard of play high, with only 1 penalty.

This weekend brings a game at York Saturday followed by a home game against Chester County on Sunday.

We are very proud to say, that the 10u team is only 1-point away from clinching a DVHL Playoff birth! Keep up the hard work guys.

12u Update.
The 12Us spent the Holiday weekend competing In the MyHockey 2019 Philadelphia Liberty Cup tournament. Our already small squad was down a few players and we took the ice with just 9 skaters and Logan Donnelly in net. One of our 9 skaters was Owen Norotsky who has been playing goal all year. We were outmanned drastically in every game but never outplayed, and no one came close to having the team wide effort and heart as our boys did. The 12s started the weekend with a tough 4:2 loss to the Quakers. After that loss they dug deep and beat the West Chester (NY) Vipers 5:3 and followed that with an exciting back-and-forth 6:5 win over the New York Aviators. The win over the Vipers put them in the championship game — and a rematch against the undefeated Quakers. The Panthers scored first and never lost the lead on their way to a 4:1 win, and the Liberty Cup PeeWee A Championship banner. It was an impressive all-around team effort; Jack Gibbon lead the way on offense and Logan Donnelly made some amazing saves to keep us in some close games. Owen Norotsky should be commended for his defensive play and willingness to skate out for the betterment of the squad. His skating made a big difference and no doubt was a large contributing factor to our success.

The 12Us head to Snider Hockey Saturday morning and are back home for their last DVHL home game against a tough CCSC team on Sunday.

14u Update.
The 14Us had a busy weekend; they played a League game Saturday, followed by playing in the Quakers tournament. Saturday’s league game was a disappointing 8:1 loss to a good Black Knight team. Saturday night the Bantams kicked off their tournament play against the host team Quakers. In a very tight game, the team dropped a 5:4 decision that saw the Panthers have 4 different scorers. Sunday morning the 14s played the Cap City Vipers in another tight game, the Panthers tied the game at 2 with just over 2-minutes to play, but the Vipers scored on a redirection with 46 seconds remaining to win the game, this lead-to back-to-back games with the Ice Dogs (one Sunday night and one Monday Morning). After dropping the Sunday night game 3:2, the kids dominated play Monday morning easily out-chancing their opponent 2:1, and ultimately coming out ahead on the scoreboard 4:1. Again for the weekend, the kids played great with a lot of heart and resilience.

We would also like to recognize Dakotah Lee and CJ Ulmer for making the CPIHL Middle School All-star team. CJ will represent Warwick and Dakotah plays for Annville-Cleona. Game is to be played at the York Ice Arena on 1/30/2019 at 6:15pm. They were both recognized during Warwick’s home game vs. Annville-Cleona at Regency on Friday, January 18th.

18u Update.
The 18s were off this past weekend. However they have two big games coming up this weekend. Saturday they will travel to Westtown to take on the Quakers, and Sunday will host the Chester County Skate Club Cougars at Regency.
